Leaving a Legacy With a Charitable Gift Annuity

We established a charitable gift annuity with the Dubuque Franciscans in memory of our dear aunts Mayme Hesselmann and Sister Elaine (Rose) Hesselmann. Aunt Mayme was like a mother to our family and, later, truly appreciated the loving care she received for several years at St. Francis Home. Sister Elaine devoted her life to work with the Franciscans. Both aunts set wonderful examples of charity and were an inspiration to all who knew them. We also enjoy the annual payments and tax benefits the annuity provides. —John and Anne Baum
